EVANGEL HEIGHTS - DAY THREE

Thursday the Evangel Heights group went to the garbage dump, where they ministered to 50 dump workers. They handed out beans and rice to the workers. In the afternoon, they went to visit the City Senior Day Care Center and presented a program to bless the folks there. They were greeted coldly at first, but soon the people warmed up and they were rejoicing by the end. In the evening they presented a program at the Caring Hearts Church. Pastor Gary preached from the book of Esther.

This group opted to have Mexican meals cooked by Isabel, and it was a big hit with the young people. This is the fifth group that has done this this year, and it has been very succesful. The group applauded the efforts of Isabel and were very happy with the food. If you are planning on coming down, think about this option.
