Kathryn Burgess, pharmacist, is preparing the medicines with members of the team. And Dr. Roy gave check ups to all the children of Caring Hearts. Today we will have a volunteer meeting. Pray that we will have enough doctors, dentists and translators who volunteer from the local area.

A CARING HEARTS WEDDING

Adriana and Jose, longtime friends of Caring Hearts were married this past Saturday in our church. Ken Blose oficiated and Papa Harold gave away the bride. Many of you probably know her testimony, that she was very sick. During one of the medical clinics, Papa Harold and a team of doctors and ministers went to see her, as she was blind and could not walk as a result of turberculosis of the brain. After prayer, God did a miraculous work in her body, and now she has been doing well for over 5 years, healed from this horrible affliction. We thank God for this new couple and pray that God will use them to proclaim His gospel in San Luis.

KENDI SELF PORTRAIT

Kendi likes to take pictures. Here is a cute one she took of herself.

Ken has been working with the Municipal Government in getting the word out. Here he is with councilman Dr. Guerra announcing the clinic on the radio. Pray that those who need the clinic will hear about it and come to receive help from Caring Hearts.

KENDI'S ENCOUNTER WITH GOD

An amazing thing happened last night. As we were preparing Kendi for bed, she started asking questions about the baptism service, and Juana answered her. She then began crying and saying she wanted to be baptized. We initially thought that she was tired and probably just wanted to get wet. After praying with her to go to sleep, Juana left her room. Kendi then launched into ferverent prayer, asking God to clean her heart, telling God that He was her everything, and asking God to baptize her. Were were astounded as we are not accustomed to pray in that way, in the house or in church, so we are convinced that it was God moving in her heart. I was able to record a few minutes of her 40 minute prayer time.

BAPTISMS AT CARING HEARTS CHURCH

Two people were baptized at the Caring Hearts Church last night. We give thanks to God for these new members of our family, and are trusting God to raise them up in His love and grace. Pray for them...

A NEW TEACHER AT BETHEL

Pedro's daughter Sarai, who has been helping her dad at Oasis for the past three years, is now also giving Juana a hand in the afternoons with the children who go to the Christian school. She has been a blessing as she shares love and concern while helping the kids with their homework.

A YOUNG PREACHER

Here are some pictures of Antonio Valles sharing a message at the Oasis Bible Study Group. Just three years ago, he didn't know how to read. Since he has been at Oasis, he has had an encounter with the Lord, and asked brother Pedro for the opportunity to preach. Praise the Lord! God is moving in the hearts of the young men in Oasis and their lives are being changed. We also have photos of families who have come and who have received the Lord for the first time at the Bible Study. Alleluia!

A NICE GIFT FOR ROSITA

A church in Baden Pennsylvania blessed our quincenera Rosita with a new keyboard! She is very excited for the opportunity to learn this new instrument. Thank you Concord!

Marcelo and Angelica are the couple who are helping Pedro and Fran at Oasis. Pastor Nunez is originally from Guatemala, and has also ministered in Brazil. He is pastoring a Hispanic church in Portland, and Marcelo and Angelica are their first missionaries. We were all pleased with the visit and believe that a relationship is being established by God.

It was a wonderful event attended by friends and family. Brother Eleazar, children's pastor at the Caring Hearts Church shared a message, as well as Oasis director Pedro Alvarado. The children of Bethel and Oasis participated with song. After the service, we had a delicious meal and great cake. We want to thank Rosita's friends who helped to make this a wonderful event for her. Pray for Rosita as she continues to grow in the Lord.
