SAN LUIS FLU REPORT

There have been 3 confirmed cases in San Luis of the H1N1 virus. All three are resting at home without major complications. They have all been linked with people who were sick in Arizona, where there are more cases. Right now the local health departments are treating this as a normal seasonal flu, because it has turned out to be a mild strain. Early panic and deaths were caused by ignorance and inadequate care, but those who see a doctor at the outset of symptoms have had no problems. The main suggestion, and this goes for all over the world has there have been cases everywhere, is frequent hand washings. This virus is spread by droplets, not through the air, so with proper care and precaution, it can be avoided.
