HERE IS OUR MONTHLY MESSAGE FROM CARING HEARTS BOARD MEMBER PASTOR GARY SIMPSON.
Renee' and I were working at Teen Challenge, living in a Mobile Home and raising our two year old son when God blessed us with twins, a boy and a girl we named Matthew and Jamie. Money was tight and work hours long, but those were some of the best times of our lives. Of course we had no idea of how hard it would be to raise three kids to follow Christ in a world that no longer recognizes Him, but God helped us and we're very happy with the way they turned out. Now we have five grandchildren and we pray that they will grow up to know and serve Christ. The children at Bethel Orphanage and the boys at Oasis are being loved and nurtured because of the work of people like you ministering through Caring Hearts. In this time of economic and political uncertainty, I can't help wondering what our grandchildren and the children of San Luis will experience in their lifetimes. But the Bible tells us that God's promises are for us and our children. Our job is to pray, give, love, teach and guide these children through the dangerous waters of life. It's hard work for Ken and Juana and Bertha and all our staff in San Luis, so don't forget to pray for them everyday. I'm very happy with the way these precious children are growing in the Lord and finding that there is a God who loves them and that He has a plan and purpose for their lives. When we care for them they are our reward. Be Blessed this Thanksgiving. Pastor Gary
